Evans: I Don't Celebrate Like T.O.

Jun 7, 2014 3:03 PM

Bills wide receiver Lee Evans admitted that his style is different than Terrell Owens, his new teammate. "It's not that I don't celebrate. Sometimes I get excited. But I'm not about to do a dance or anything like that," Evans said. "I think it'll be great because he definitely brings a lot of attention. But I don't know if it's something that's going to revolutionize me and what I do." Evans doesn't believe that there is anything wrong with T.O.'s infamous celebratory antics. "Sometimes, they say, opposites attract," Evans said.

Lynch Has Gained 15 Pounds

Nov 17, 2014 7:34 AM

Marshawn Lynch has looked quick in and out of his cuts in the OTA setting thus far, which is even more impressive after he informed the media that he?s added more than 10 pounds of muscle to his frame. ?I bulked up to about 230 and put some mass on,? Lynch said. ?We?ll see how that?s going to work. I haven?t lost a step. I feel pretty much the same.? The Bills feature back was listed at 215 pounds last season, so 15 pounds is a significant gain even for a well put together back like Lynch. But even he?s not sure he?ll be able to maintain it coming out of training camp in August. ?Probably during the season it?ll be pretty hot so it probably won?t stay on,? said Lynch. ?I don?t know if you put on weight to add years to your career, but it was something different for me.?

Edwards, Owens And Evans Work Overtime

Jul 8, 2014 1:21 AM

Trent Edwards spent more than 20 minutes throwing passes to wide receivers Terrell Owens and Lee Evans after the Buffalo Bills completed a 90-minute session of organized team activities Wednesday. The purpose of the extra work was to improve Edwards? timing with his top wideouts. It was especially beneficial for Edwards and Owens to get a better feel for each other. ?Well, I think it?s very, very important, especially for me being new to the system,? Owens said. ?Obviously, I have to get used to the way he throws the ball and he has to get used to my body language as far as when I?m going in and out of cuts. We?re just trying to get a sense of timing and some chemistry and just working through some routes we?re going to be running throughout the course of the year.?

Jim Kelly: Bills Better Show Up This Season

Jun 7, 2014 8:58 PM

Legendary Bills quarterback Jim Kelly sees this as a make-or-break year for the franchise, which has three consecutive 7-9 seasons. "The pressure's on. The pressure's on [coach] Dick [Jauron]. The pressure's on Turk Schonert, the offensive coordinator. They got the people that they need," Kelly said on Sirius NFL Radio. "They got some receivers. They got a couple of good running backs. That good, solid offensive line, I think, should jell this year. "So they have no excuses. It's time to show up, or just pack your bags, and there's going to be a lot of changes."
