Austin Ekeler Says He's Getting Closer To Returning

Nov 13, 2020 8:56 AM

Austin Ekeler has been out since injuring his hamstring in Week 4, but it sounds as though he's getting closer to a return.

Ekeler posted a video on his Twitter account Thursday where he can be seen running sprints on a side field at the Los Angeles Chargers' facility.

Justin Jackson, Joshua Kelley, Troymaine Pope, and Kalen Ballage have all seen time in the Chargers backfield with Ekeler out of the mix.

Anthony Lynn: 'At Some Point, Good Things Will Happen'

Nov 9, 2020 8:15 AM

The Los Angeles Chargers fell to the Oakland Raiders 31-26 on Sunday in their latest heart-breaking loss.

Justin Herbert has been fantastic as a rookie, but L.A. is just 2-6 on the season. All six losses have come by a single possession.

"I told the guys just keep competing," Anthony Lynn said. "They did what I asked them to do. They competed for four quarters. I thought they were resilient and I thought they bounced back. I thought they played for one another. I do know if you continue to do that, at some point good things will happen."

Anthony Lynn Frustrated After Losing Fifth Double-Digit Lead

Nov 2, 2020 9:00 AM

For the fifth time this season, the Los Angeles Chargers held a double-digit lead and lost on Sunday.

Anthony Lynn was asked if any changes need to be made after Drew Lock threw a touchdown pass to KJ Hamler on the final play of the game to give the Denver Broncos a 31-30 victory.

"This is what we have, this is our staff, these are out players," Lynn said. "So right now, what we gotta do as a group is figure this out -- why we're blowing these leads that we're getting, and why we're not finishing games, like we need to, in the fourth quarter. We did it last week, and we didn't do it this week. It's too soon for changes right now."

The 2-5 Chargers are the first team in NFL history to trail after leading by at least 16 points in four consecutive games.
