The Los Angeles Chargers have "moved on" from Philip Rivers, according to Jay Glazer of Fox Sports.

Rivers has already relocated his family from San Diego to Florida.

The Chargers pick sixth in the 2020 NFL Draft, but behind two teams in the Cincinnati Bengals and Miami Dolphins who need quarterbacks.

Antonio Gates made his retirement official on Thursday. Gates didn't play in 2019, but he wasn't ready to retire and remained a free agent.

Gates finished the 2018 regular season with 28 receptions for 333 receiving yards and two scores.
