Cam Robinson has suffered a torn ACL in his left knee.
Robinson is the starting left tackle for the Jacksonville Jaguars. Robinson was a second round pick in 2017 out of Alabama.
Fourth-year player Josh Wells replaced Robinson and played relatively well Sunday for the Jaguars.
Leonard Fournette didn't practice on Wednesday as he continues to nurse a sore hamstring.
Doug Marrone says the Jacksonville Jaguars will be cautious with Fournette, who left in the second quarter this past Sunday and didn't return. Marrone hopes the running back will be able to test his hamstring in practice by Friday.
"We're going to give it some time and see where we are when it's time to start testing it," the coach said.
Marrone would be fine with Fournette playing Sunday against the New England Patriots even if he is unable to practice this week.
Odell Beckham, Jr. insists that he won't let Jalen Ramsey get into his head as the New York Giants prepare for the Jacksonville Jaguars.
"I think I learned my lesson," Beckham said. "[Ramsey] is, if not the best, one of the best corners in the league. There is no way around it."
Ramsey is famous for baiting wide receivers and Beckham has lost his temper in the past. In 2015, he was suspended for one game after an incident with Josh Norman.
"I remember going into the week before and, to be honest with you, I hadn't watched much tape on Josh before we had played them. I remember you all bringing me information from his interview saying this is sweet and blah, blah, blah. And the stories and papers are written," Beckham said. "It was all set up to happen what exactly happened. And I am kind of seeing things different now and just knowing it is going to be a matchup, but it's not going to be something where history repeats itself and the past and buying into the same thing."
Jalen Ramsey has taken the mantle as perhaps the NFL's best cornerback and its most outspoken.
