Jaguars: Offense Will Improve

Sep 3, 2014 4:55 AM

Jaguars' offensive coordinator Dirk Koetter claims that the team's offense will improve. The Jaguars are 24th in the NFL in yardage, 25th in passing offense and tied for 26th in scoring after three games. "No question," he said of an improvement. "I'm guaranteeing it. This week." He believes the team has receivers that can get open deep. "If you brought those wideouts in here and said, 'Can you get behind the defense?' every one of them is going to say, 'Yeah, I have been. They haven't hit me,'" he said.

Garrard: Criticism Doesn't Bother Me

Oct 9, 2014 5:56 AM

David Garrard knows that he became a target for criticism when he signed a six-year, $60 million contract extension in the offseason, according to Florida Times-Union. "Whenever you get paid, that's going to happen," Garrard said. "I'm not stupid. I'm not going to be naive to that fact. They [the fans and media] want to see production out of that money, and they want to see you be that top guy. I definitely think I'm still the same player, and I could really care less about criticism and all that stuff." He has received criticism for his play, with the team starting the season 1-2. Garrard has one touchdown and four interceptions through three games.
