The Jaguars and quarterback David Garrard aren't in a rush to come to terms on a contract extension, but rumor is that the pact could rival the one Dallas gave Tony Romo, according to the Florida Times-Union.
"We're not insisting that [Garrard] gets more than Romo, but it's got to be in that ballpark," Garrard's agent said. "We're not going all the way back to [Houston Texans quarterback] Matt Schaub."

Texans, QB Gray Will Meet Sunday
Free-agent quarterback Quinn Gray and the Texans will meet on Sunday afternoon, according to the Houston Chronicle.
The team is looking to carry a third quarterback this season, aside from starter Matt Schaub and backup Sage Rosenfels.
Gray threw four TD's for the Jaguars against the Texans in Week Seventeen of last season.

Citing numerous sources, the report stated that the deal could be finalized as early as this week.
New Orleans Signs DE Bobby McCray
The New Orleans Saints signed defensive end Bobby McCray to a five-year deal on Sunday, according to the Associated Press.
McCray, who spent the last four seasons with the Jaguars, had a career-high 10 sacks in 2006.
The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
