David Garrard knows that he became a target for criticism when he signed a six-year, $60 million contract extension in the offseason, according to Florida Times-Union. "Whenever you get paid, that's going to happen," Garrard said. "I'm not stupid. I'm not going to be naive to that fact. They [the fans and media] want to see production out of that money, and they want to see you be that top guy. I definitely think I'm still the same player, and I could really care less about criticism and all that stuff." He has received criticism for his play, with the team starting the season 1-2. Garrard has one touchdown and four interceptions through three games.
