Nov 10, 2014 9:33 PM

In Wisconsin, there have been some whispers that Brett Favre would like to see the offense upgraded and, perhaps, even have the Packers trade for disgruntled Oakland receiver Randy Moss. Head coach Mike McCarthy believes Favre's decision will hinge on personal issues, not on the quality of the Packers.

Favre Says Decision A Long Ways Away

Nov 14, 2014 5:15 PM

Brett Favre indicated he'd planned to make a definitive decision about his playing future within two weeks of the team's final regular-season game. It's been a month, and still no word. "I probably jumped the gun when I said that," Favre said. "I'm just trying to get as far away from it as I can right now [but] I don't know if I'll ever know for sure."

Favre's Surgery Postponed

Oct 10, 2014 9:44 PM

Brett Favre's scheduled surgery on hiS ankle was postponed, according to a club spokesman. No further information was given, so it's unclear if the surgery would be rescheduled this week. Favre said after the Packers' 26-7 victory over the Chicago Bears at Soldier Field on Sunday night that he expected to have the ankle repaired in Green Bay on Monday. Team physician Patrick McKenzie was expected to perform the operation, which is being done to remove bone fragments that are causing him pain.

Is Farve Gone For Good?

Nov 14, 2014 5:16 PM

After shredding the Bears in an otherwise meaningless victory for the Packers on Sunday night, Brett Favre certainly sounded like a man who was ready to leave the game. Standing on the 20-yard line at Soldier Field, Favre got choked up during a TV interview, saying he would decide "soon" whether he would retire or return next season. "It's tough. It's tough," Favre said. "I'm going to miss these guys and miss the game." Still, Favre stopped short of saying he was retiring. Asked whether he had already made up his mind in a interview session after the game, Favre would not comment.
