The Packers have re-signed defensive tackle Colin Cole to a one-year deal, agent Neil Cornrich said Thursday.
Cole played in 15 games last season, making 53 tackles with one sack and one forced fumble. Cornrich said the Packers like the 6-foot-1, 315-pound Cole's combination of size and strength.

Packers: We've Never Discussed Trading Rodgers
Rumors persist that Green Bay Packers backup quarterback Aaron Rodgers is on the trading block in a possible deal for Oakland Raiders receiver Randy Moss.
But Packers general manager Ted Thompson, who should know better than anyone, doesn't put a lot of stock in such speculation.
"It's never been discussed inside the building or outside the building," said Thompson when asked about a possible Rodgers trade.
Thompson drafted Rodgers in the first round (No. 24 overall) in 2005 with the intention he would be the Packers' quarterback of the future. Nothing has changed Thompson's mind about that.
"I think he's a very talented guy," Thompson said. "He's everything we thought of in terms of intelligence, and his physical ability, his ability to throw the ball. I like the way he handles himself around the team.
Report: Packers And Raiders Not Close On Moss Deal
The Green Bay Packers and Oakland Raiders are not close to a trade in which the Packers would acquire wide receiver Randy Moss, NFL sources familiar with the situation told the Journal Sentinel today.
Officials from both teams labeled as inaccurate a report written by Michael Felger of the Boston Herald quoting a source in Wisconsin that the two teams "are on the verge of announcing a trade that would send the troubled wide receiver to Green Bay in exchange for backup quarterback Aaron Rodgers."
"It's all a joke," a personnel man for one of the two clubs said.
"It's not true," said another personnel man for one of the two teams. "That's just stupid."
Packers Sign Frank Walker
The Packers made defense a priority for their first free-agent signing of the season.
The Packers on Thursday announced the signing of cornerback Frank Walker, an unrestricted free agent.
Terms of the contract were not disclosed, although Walker's agent, Harold Lewis, the told the Green Bay Press-Gazette that the deal was for one year at $750,000 with incentives that could double the contract's worth.
Source: Moss To Packers Close
A source in Wisconsin said Thursday that the Packers and Raiders are on the verge of announcing a trade that would send Randy Moss to Green Bay in exchange for backup quarterback Aaron Rodgers.
However, one source close to Rodgers adamantly denied the rumor, saying, to his knowledge, the Raiders and Packers have not had substantive discussions.
Report: Packers Step Up Moss Efforts
A deal could be in the works between the Packers and Oakland Raiders for Randy Moss, and the management staff will hold meetings on Tuesday to discuss interest in bringing Moss to Green Bay.
A recent report in the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel said that general manager Ted Thompson has had discussions with Oakland owner Al Davis about a trade for Moss, with discussions reaching the point of the Packers speaking with Moss' agent about restructuring his current contract if a deal gets done.
"They're going to get rid of him," an unnamed league source told the Journal-Sentinel. "I think they think they can trade him. And I know Green Bay has interest."
Thompson has not spoken about a possible deal for Moss in public.
"Ted has not spent a lot of time talking to me about it, quite honestly," Bob Harlan, chairman of the Packer's board, told the Journal-Sentinel. "Ted always starts out our meetings with a football report so he may get into that."
Packers Release Henderson
William Henderson will not make it a lucky 13 with the Packers.
The long-time fullback of the Packers was released Wednesday.
Henderson has been the lead blocker in the Packers' power running game since being drafted in the third round in 1995. The 6-1, 252-pounder was part of one Super Bowl-winning team with the Packers.
