Dak Prescott: Season Will 'Be Very, Very Special' For Cowboys

Jun 30, 2021 8:20 AM

Dak Prescott is expecting a much better season for the Dallas Cowboys in 2021.

The Cowboys were 1-3 when Prescott suffered a season-ending injury in Week 5 of last season.

"Improvement, a lot of improvement, obviously from last year to this year, but deeper than that from those first five games," Prescott said.

"Take those first five games and just say we're going to be better than that as a team. We're going to play more complementary football from defense to offense to special teams, and then we're going to have a healthy team. We've all approached the offseason. We approached the season the right way. We're just excited. We're excited that hopefully, we can stay healthy, we can get good fortune on that end. And we can just put everything we've worked hard for together on all stages and all phases of the game. We're excited for this year. It's going to be very, very special for us and for Cowboys fans."

Dak Prescott: Ezekiel Elliott Is In The Best Shape Of His Life

Jun 14, 2021 8:47 AM

The Dallas Cowboys are hoping for a resurgence from Ezekiel Elliott in 2021 after the running back posted career-low numbers last season.

Dak Prescott says Elliott is working hard to get back into form.

"Zeke looks great," Prescott said. "He's in the best shape of his life. Looking fast. Everybody's seen the clips of him working out independently with his running back coach. His cuts, just how explosive he is. Excited to have a full year with him again and getting him healthy throughout the whole season."

Elliott rushed for 979 yards (4.0 yards per carry) and six touchdowns in 15 games last season.
