Chad Johnson fully participated in drills for the first time Saturday as the Bengals wrapped up their minicamp. The receiver limited himself to a few drills during workouts on Thursday and Friday, complaining through his agent that he has a bad ankle. He looked fine during a team workout on Saturday, catching passes from QB Carson Palmer.

Bengals Agree To Extension With DT Peko

The Bengals have agreed to a five-year contract extension with defensive tackle Domata Petko, according to The Associated Press. Peko, a 6-3, 319-pounder on the interior of the defensive line, reached agreement Thursday on the $29.3 million extension that will keep him a Bengal through 2014. Peko has the ability with escalators to earn $30.3 million over the life of the extension.

Chad Johnson showed up, but wasn?t taking part in drills, at the Bengals? minicamp on Thursday, as reported by the Associated Press. Wearing his helmet and jersey, the disgruntled Johnson stood and watched his teammates go through drills on the practice field. He arrived at the field a few minutes after the start of practice.

Chad: No Longer Wants Trade

The disgruntled Chad Johnson has apparently ceased his demands for a trade and declared that he will be returning to the Bengals, according to a report by ESPN.com Tuesday. Earlier this offseason, Johnson had demanded a trade and vowed he would never play for the Bengals again. Coach Marvin Lewis called his bluff, suggesting Johnson should make good on his promise to sit out the season.

Thurman's representative Safarrah Lawson said he was unaware of the situation when contacted by ESPN.com on Monday night. Thurman was released by the Bengals on May 19.
