Madieu Williams has agreed to a six-year, $33 million with the Minnesota Vikings, making him one of the highest paid safeties in the NFL, according to ESPN.
Williams was a hard-hitting member of the Cincinnati Bengals.
Bengals Franchise Lineman Andrews
The Cincinnati Bengals placed the franchise tag on guard Stacy Andrews on Monday, making him the third player to receive the tag this offseason, according to ESPN.com.
The Bengals gave Andrews a one-year $7.5 million deal to play in Cincinnati this season.
Last week, the Eagles franchised L.J. Smith, and the Cardinals did the same with Karlos Dansby.
Lewis: We're Not Trading Chad
Bengals' head coach Marvin Lewis said Wednesday that the team will not trade Chad Johnson and has never discussed it.
"They can stop the presses, quit killing trees and move on to other things," Lewis said, defending Johnson despite the wide receiver's critical comments about the team. "There is, at no point, anyone in the Bengals organization who has ever uttered anything about trading Chad Johnson. Nor will he be traded."

A Redskins' source downplayed the seriousness of a report that indicated the franchise is interested in trading for Chad Johnson.
The source, however, didn't rule out the possibility.

Two sources say that Johnson wants to be dealt to Washington and that he would like a new contract.
Johnson's agent Drew Rosenhaus is trying to broker a trade.
Chad's Agent: No Plan For Holdout
Drew Rosenhaus, the agent for Chad Johnson, partially denied reports that Johnson has threatened to sit next season if the Bengals don't trade him away from Cincinnati on Sunday night, according to the Cincinnati Enquirer.
"Chad Johnson will play football in 2008," Rosenhaus told the Enquirer.
Rosenhaus wouldn't, however, comment on whether or not he thought Johnson would be playing for the Bengals in 2008.
