Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins has reaffirmed his desire to be traded, according to a report.

Higgins first made it known that he was requesting a trade back in March as his representation continues to push for a long-term contact extension.

He recently told local media that he anticipates playing for the Bengals this season.

"We'll see. I do anticipate (playing for the Bengals in 2024)," Higgins said. "I've grown a love for Cincy that I didn't think I would. Looking forward to it."

Bengals' Trey Hendrickson, Seeking Long-Term Deal, Requests Trade

Apr 25, 2024 8:33 AM

Cincinnati Bengals defensive end Trey Hendrickson has requested a trade.

Hendrickson's agent, Harold Lewis, told ESPN that the defender's request is about a long-term investment from the franchise after the two sides settled on a one-year extension last year.

"Our No. 1 goal is to get a long-term commitment from them," Lewis said. "If we can't, then we're asking for a trade. And hopefully if he gets traded, that's what we do -- get a long-term commitment with somewhere else."

Last year, Hendrickson received a one-year contract extension worth $21 million, which included an $8 million signing bonus. After another season in which he was one of the league's best defensive ends, Hendrickson is looking to cash in again.

The Bengals aren't interested in trading Hendrickson, according to a source.

Jason Kelce Tried Recruiting Joe Burrow To University Of Cincinnati

Apr 12, 2024 8:06 AM

Jason Kelce tried to recruit Joe Burrow to his alma mater, the University of Cincinnati, prior to the quarterback transferring to LSU from Ohio State in 2018.

"When Joe was transferring out of Ohio State, I sent him a text on behalf of Cincinnati, trying to lure him to the university," Kelce said. "Who knows what could have been. He could have been such a great player had he just come here, but unfortunately he went to LSU."

Burrow went on to have a record-setting run at LSU that included a Heisman Trophy and a national championship win in 2020.
