Bengals quarterback Carson Palmer could be done for the season after reports of a frayed ligament in his right elbow.
Palmer has already been ruled out for the team's game against the Texans on Sunday.
ESPN's Chris Mortensen reported on Saturday that Palmer's injury is to a part of his ulnar collateral ligament, a condition treatable by "Tommy John" surgery.

Ocho Cinco To Keep 'Johnson' Jersey For 2008
Bengals' receiver Chad Ocho Cinco will keep his old name on the back of his jersey for the remainder of the 2008 season.
It would have cost him substantial money to make the switch for this year. The NFL said he couldn't wear "Ocho Cinco" on the back of his jersey until he compensated Reebok for the old jerseys they manufactured that would now be a tough sell.
"We've just left it alone," Chad said. "I'll just wait and do it next year."
Steelers' Parker Will Miss Third-Straight Game
Steelers' running back Willie Parker is expected to miss his third straight game on Sunday when the team takes on the Bengals.
He has been battling a sprained left knee for the last month.
Parker has 263 yards and three touchdowns in three games for Pittsburgh this season.
Palmer Likely Out 2 Weeks
Bengals' quarterback Carson Palmer is likely to miss the next two weeks as the team looks to figure out how best to deal with his injured elbow.
Palmer has already been ruled out of Cincinnati's game against Pittsburgh this Sunday, and coach Marvin Lewis hinted that he might miss the Oct. 26 game against Houston.
"It hasn't changed with Carson," Lewis said. "We're going to let him rest this week and probably next week and go from there."

Chad, Housh: Palmer Shouldn't Rush Back
Bengals' receivers Chad Johnson and T.J. Houshmandzadeh don't think that quarterback Carson Palmer should rush back to the field as he battles an elbow injury.
Palmer will miss his third-straight game this Sunday. He injured the elbow when his arm was hit as he threw a pass during a 26-23 overtime loss to the Giants on Sept. 21.
"I think the issue with [Palmer] is a lot more serious than playing this year," Johnson said. "We're talking about his career in general. If it means sitting out this year or play another 20 or who knows how long he'll be able to go, I think it'd be in his best interests to sit out."
Palmer May Need Tommy John Surgery?
Carson Palmer will have his ailing elbow examined by the Mets? team doctor David Altchek this week.
Palmer said he had been told that his injury was the kind common to baseball pitchers that eventually results in Tommy John surgery, one reason he decided to consult Altchek.
Cincinnati's Lewis Thinking Of Benching Perry
Bengals' Coach Marvin Lewis could be thinking about benching running back Chris Perry in favor of Cedric Benson or Kenny Watson.
Perry rushed for just 14 yards on eleven carries in a loss to the Jets on Sunday.
"We're going to look at all that," Lewis said.
"We need to look at it and take a hard look and see what's the best thing for us to go forward. It's a combination of things. I'm not going to sit here and elaborate much on it now. We've got to do better. It's not good enough."
Bengals Sign Rayner In Case Graham Can't Kick
The Bengals have signed kicker Dave Rayner, giving them another option should Shayne Graham miss Sunday's game because of a sore groin.
Graham didn't practice on Thursday or Friday and is listed as questionable against the New York Jets.
Bengals' Palmer Won't Start Against Jets
Carson Palmer will not start for Cincinnati against the New York Jets on Sunday because of an inflamed right elbow.
Ryan Fitzpatrick, who started on Sept. 28, will start for the team in Palmer's absence. He struggled with three interceptions and a fumble in his last start.
"Yeah, I feel great right now, being able to digest the game plan and having the full three days of practice," Fitzpatrick said after Friday morning's practice. "And then just the added -- I got that first game out of the way, I've been there, I've been in a live rush situation. I'm going to be smarter with the ball. I'm going to stay within myself and run the offense."
Chad: Never Go Against The Monster Because He Always Wins
Chad Johnson has just 14 receptions and one touchdown, but he believes he has everyone right where he wants them.
"My ankle's fine, my shoulder's fine, but for those who don't know why I'm not getting the ball, I have my own little philosophy on what's going on," Ocho Cinco said.
"And I broke it down like this: Never, ever, ever, ever go against the monster because the monster always wins. Get it? So y'all put that in your own perspective, and you'll understand where I'm coming from and why things are going the way it's going right now."
Lewis Shoots Down Houshmandzadeh Rumors
"What club in its right mind would trade for a player that?s going to be an unrestricted free agent?" said Marvin Lewis.

Cowboys receiver Terrell Owens, who has been in a "slump" as of late, has a history of strong performances against the Bengals, who Dallas will face this Sunday.
Bengals Like What They See In Benson
The Bengals, who signed free agent Cedric Benson earlier this week, like what they have seen from the former Bears running back.
Ocho Cinco Still Talking About Joining Cowboys
Chad Johnson continues to lobby to join the Dallas Cowboys ahead of their meeting this Sunday. He believes if he joined the team they would have to show Cowboys' games on pay-per-view.
