The Chicago Bears have lost Henry Melton to a torn ACL in Week 3's win over the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Melton will be difficult to replace as a three-technique defensive tackle.

Bears Comeback To Beat Vikings 31-30 (+0.8 TC, +5 TRC)

The Chicago Bears withstood a flurry of second half Blair Walsh field goals to defeat the Minnesota Vikings 31-30 with a Martellus Bennett touchdown in the final seconds of the game.

The Bears had just a +0.8 advantage in the Trench Counter, with one additional turnover and five extra first downs as the yardage per play was fairly even. The Bears had a +5 edge in Total Rushes/Completions.

Jay Cutler went 28-for-39 for 290 yards, three touchdowns and two interceptions. Brandon Marshall caught seven balls for 113 yards and a touchdown, while Bennett had 76 yards and two touchdowns. 

Matt Forte had 90 yards rushing on 19 carries and an additional 71 yards receiving on 11 receptions.

Adrian Peterson rushed 26 times for 100 yards as the Vikings scored two of their three touchdowns on special teams (Cordarrelle Patterson kickoff return) and defense (Brian Robinson fumble return).

Jay Cutler had his third best game since being traded to the Chicago Bears on Sunday in Week 1 against a highly regarded Cincinnati Bengals' defense.

Cutler was 3-for-3 on passes over 20 yards and 9-for-12 on passes over 10 yards.

Cutler is playing his first season under Marc Trestman.

Cutler went 21-for-33 for 242 yards, two touchdowns and an interception.

The Chicago Bears defeated the Cincinnati Bengals by a final score of 24-21.

The Bears had +4.2 edge in The Trench Counter, averaging fewer yards per play (6.2 to 5.3), but carried over their remarkable turnover differential (3 to 1). Chicago had a +6 advantage in Total Rushes/Completions.

Jay Cutler went 21-for-33 with 242 yards, two touchdowns and one interception. Brandon Marshall caught eight balls for 104 yards and a touchdown.

Andy Dalton went 26-for-33 for 282 yards and two touchdowns to A.J. Green and two interceptions. Green finished the game with nine receptions for 162 yards.
