The San Francisco 49ers are interested in signing defensive end Israel Idonije.

Idonije has been with the Chicago Bears since 2004 and the team is trying to re-sign him.

Brian Urlacher's tenure with the Chicago Bears has come to an end after 13 seasons.

Urlacher and the Bears were unable to agree to terms on a new deal and both sides agreed to move on.

"We were unable to reach an agreement with Brian and both sides have decided to move forward," Bears general manager Phil Emery said in a statement. "Brian has been an elite player in our league for over a decade. He showed great leadership and helped develop a winning culture over his time with the Bears. We appreciate all he has given our team, on and off the field. Brian will always be welcome as a member of the Bears."

Jermon Bushrod has reached agreement with the Chicago Bears on a five-year deal.

Bushrod was a Pro Bowl selection at left tackle in 2011 and 2012 with the New Orleans Saints.

Aaron Kromer, Chicago's offensive coordinator/line coach, helped develop Bushrod with the Saints.

Martellus Bennett has agreed to a deal to sign a four-year deal, $20 million with the Chicago Bears.

Bennett spent last season with the New York Giants.

Bennett is a talented but sometimes frustrating tight end.

The Minnesota Vikings have agreed to a multi-year contract with Phil Loadholt.

Loadholt has been right tackle with the Chicago Bears.
