The Carolina Panthers have agreed to terms on a one-year deal with D.J. Chark, according to sources.

Chark will serve as an outside target opposite Adam Thielen, who recently got a three-year deal from the Panthers.

He had 30 receptions for 502 yards and three touchdowns for the Detroit Lions in 2022.

Adam Thielen will help fill the void of a veteran wide receiver the Carolina Panthers lost when they included DJ Moore in a trade with the Chicago Bears for the first pick of the NFL draft.

The Panthers announced Sunday they reached a deal with Thielen. The deal is for three years, a league source told ESPN.

The Carolina Panthers have agreed to sign Miles Sanders to a four-year deal, according to reports.

Sanders, 25, is coming off a career-best season in which he rushed for 1,269 yards and 11 touchdowns for the Philadelphia Eagles.

The Carolina Panthers have added a veteran quarterback to their roster.

Carolina agreed to a two-year, $10 million deal with Andy Dalton that includes $8 million in guarantees, according to a source.

Dalton can earn a maximum of $17 million over the two seasons.

The Panthers, who traded up for the No. 1 pick with the Chicago Bears on Friday, are expected to draft a quarterback.

The Carolina Panthers acquired the top overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft from the Chicago Bears last week and FanDuel has CJ Stroud as the favorite to go No. 1 at -250.

Anthony Richardson is second at +300, followed by Bryce Young at +350.

Richardson had an impressive showing at the combine and is considered the quarterback with the highest upside.

ESPN's Todd McShay responded to the trade by the Panthers by sticking with Young at No. 1. McShay has Young as the top rated quarterback and top overall prospect. 

Odell Beckham, Jr. is "in talks" with several teams after holding an open workout for scouts on Friday in Arizona, according to a report.

It was reported last week that Beckham was seeking $20 million per year despite missing all of the 2022 season after tearing an ACL in Super Bowl LVI.

The Carolina Panthers, New York Giants, New England Patriots, Los Angeles Rams, Arizona Cardinals, San Francisco 49ers, Buffalo Bills, Kansas City Chiefs, Minnesota Vikings, Cleveland Browns, New York Jets and Baltimore Ravens all attended his workout.

The Carolina Panthers have acquired the No. 1 overall pick from the Chicago Bears.

The Bears will move down to No. 9 and will also receive No. 61, a first round pick in 2024, a second round pick in 2025 and DJ Moore.

The Panthers will select their quarterback of the future at No. 1.

Kyle Shanahan has already ruled out Jimmy Garoppolo's return to the San Francisco 49ers as the quarterback enters free agency.

Garoppolo was embroiled in trade rumors throughout last season, but ended up remaining with the Niners.

According to a report, the Carolina Panthers, Houston Texans and Las Vegas Raiders are "likely" to have interest in Garoppolo once free agency begins.

As he works to determine his next team, Derek Carr has a "slight lean" toward the New York Jets, according to a report.

Carr, 31, has also met with the Carolina Panthers and New Orleans Saints.

The Las Vegas Raiders cut Carr on Feb. 14.

Carolina Panthers founder Jerry Richardson passed away on Wednesday at age 86.

Richardson brought the Panthers into the NFL in 1995, but his tenure with the team ended after the 2017 season amid allegations of sexual and racial workplace misconduct.

Richardson was forced to sell the team to David Tepper for a then NFL-record $2.275 billion.

He was fined $2.75 million by the NFL after an extensive investigation into the allegations following a story by Sports Illustrated in which four former employees anonymously stated they reached a financial settlement with Richardson in exchange for silence.
