Bryce Young said he accepts some of the responsibility for the Carolina Panthers firing Frank Reich on Monday.

"We all do. We all share in that," Young said. "We never want to see people get fired. We wanted to come in and conquer things together and accomplish our goals together. We all take responsibility in that."

Young also made it clear he doesn't believe Reich failed him in terms of his or the offense's development during an NFL-worst 1-10 start.

"We all take ownership, especially offensively," he said. "It's all of us. We all want to do better. It's a collective unit. There's no finger pointing from players, coaches. Nothing. We all could have been better."

David Tepper stood by the decision by the Carolina Panthers to draft Bryce Young over C.J. Stroud one day after he fired Frank Reich as head coach. Young has struggled this season as the Panthers have a 1-10 record, while Stoud looks like a potential superstar. 

"Now, look, everything that's right here, everything that's wrong here, ultimately it's my fault,'' he said. "I've got the final say. But as far as those decisions, whether it's Frank Reich or it's Bryce Young, those decisions were made.

"And in the case of Bryce it was almost ... I believe it was a unanimous decision from the coaches and the scouts. And very strong opinions at the time."

Tepper added that he was "totally confident in agreeing with that pick."

Greg Olsen is interested in interviewing for the Carolina Panthers' vacant coaching job, according to a report.

The Panthers fired Frank Reich on Monday amid a 1-10 start.

Olsen, 38, currently works as a color analyst on FOX's NFL broadcast crew, but he has zero college or NFL coaching experience.

A three-time Pro Bowler, the tight end spent the majority of his 14-year playing career in Carolina.

The Carolina Panthers have fired head coach Frank Reich after just 11 games.

With an NFL-worst 1-10 record, the Panthers are assured of a sixth-straight losing season.

"I met with Coach Reich this morning and informed him that he will not continue as head coach of the Carolina Panthers," owner David Tepper said in a statement. "I want to thank Frank for his dedication and service, and we wish him well."

With Reich calling the plays on offense, the Panthers on Sunday scored 15 or fewer points for the fifth straight week and for the seventh time in 11 games. 

Bryce Young, the No. 1 pick of the 2023 draft whom Carolina traded two first-round picks and star wide receiver DJ Moore to get, ranks last in the NFL in Total QBR and has been sacked 40 times, tied for the fifth most by a player through his first 10 games since sacks were first tracked in 1963.

Adam Thielen was critical of the Carolina Panthers' offense after the team's 16-13 loss to the Chicago Bears on Thursday night.

The offense put up 213 yards and 12 first downs on nine drives, reaching the red zone just once and never getting closer than the 15-yard line.

"We're just not hitting on all cylinders right now. We're not hitting on any cylinders," Adam Thielen said. "It's an embarrassing effort. I think everyone's just embarrassed, you know, put up what, six points on offense.

"Like, we didn't do anything. That's embarrassing when your defense is playing the way they're playing, especially the way they're playing. It's embarrassing. And like we talked about, we're putting in good practices. We're doing the right things; building the momentum that way, but it's just not translating. That's tough."
