Chris Johnson has agreed upon a one-year deal with the Arizona Cardinals.

Johnson had recently visited the Miami Dolphins but left without a contract.

"I feel like Arizona is the best place for me right now," Johnson said last month.

Johnson's 2015 season ended early with a fractured left tibia.

The Arizona Cardinals are sending Jonathan Cooper and a second round pick to the New England Patriots for Chandler Jones.

Cooper began the 2015 season as the Cardinals' start at right guard and lost his job due to injury.

Jason Pierre-Paul and the New York Giants have agreed upon a one-year, $10.5 million deal.

The Arizona Cardinals made a late push to sign Pierre-Paul.

Pierre-Paul badly injured his hand last July 4th and was limited upon his return.
