Panthers, Cardinals Were Two Of Five Teams In Top-10 Off., Def. DVOA

The NFL final four is set this season with the Arizona Cardinals playing at the Carolina Panthers in the NFC Championship and the New England Patriots playing at the Denver Broncos.

Both the Cardinals and Panthers finished the regular season ranked in the top-10 in both offensive and defensive DVOA.

The Broncos were a top-10 defensive team, ranking first, while the Patriots were a top-10 team on offense at fifth. The Broncos ranked 25th defensively, while the Patriots were 12th on offense.

The NFC Championship features the Arizona Cardinals and Carolina Panthers, who last were one win away from the Super Bowl in 2008 and 2005 respectively.

Cardinals-Packers Has Highest Ever Saturday Night Divisional Rating

The Arizona Cardinals' overtime win over the Green Bay Packers was the NFL's highest-rated Saturday prime-time divisional game since it began in 2001.

NBC said Sunday that Arizona's wild 26-20 victory averaged an 18.8 rating and 33 share.

The 33.7 million viewers were up 9 percent from last year's Panthers-Seahawks matchup and second only to the 34.2 million for Broncos-Patriots in 2012 for the time slot.

ESPN's Football Power Index gives the Arizona Cardinals the best chance of winning the Super Bowl at 29 percent.

The Carolina Panthers rank second at 20 percent with the New England Patriots third at 18 percent.

The Denver Broncos have an 11 percent chance and the Seattle Seahawks rank fifth at six percent.

Seahawks Lead NFL In DVOA For 4th Straight Season (Infographic)

The Seattle Seahawks finished the 2015 season ranked first in Football Outsiders' Total DVOA following their blowout victory of the Arizona Cardinals.

The Seahawks have now finished first in DVOA for four straight seasons, which is the first time the feat has been accomplished.

The Cincinnati Bengals rank second in Total DVOA ahead of the Cardinals, Carolina Panthers and Kansas City Chiefs.

These were also the five teams, the Seahawks, Bengals, Cardinals, Panthers and Chiefs, to finish the 2015 regular season in the top-10 in both Offensive and Defensive DVOA.
