Russell Wilson, Lamar Jackson Emerge As Heavy NFL MVP Favorites

The 2019 NFL MVP chase appears to be a two-horse race between Russell Wilson and Lamar Jackson with each of their odds improving in Week 10.

Last week, SportsBetting.ag had Wilson as the MVP favorite with 2/1, or +200, odds. Wilson started the season with 16/1 odds.

Jackson had 7/2, or +350, odds before his perfect-rating game Sunday, and his odds have improved as well. Jackson started the year with 30/1 odds.

49ers-Packers Flexed To SNF In Week 12, Replacing Seahawks-Eagles

The NFL has moved the Week 12 game between the Green Bay Packers and San Francisco 49ers to Sunday Night Football, replacing the matchup between the Seattle Seahawks and Philadelphia Eagles.

The game between the 8-2 Packers and 8-1 49ers was due to be played at 4:25 p.m. ET, at the same time the Cowboys and the Patriots play at Gillette Stadium.

Josh Gordon Passes Physical, 'Ready To Go' With Seahawks

Pete Carroll says Josh Gordon is "ready to go" with the Seattle Seahawks after passing his physical.

Gordon has been medically cleared to participate Thursday when the team returns to practice ahead of its Monday night game against the San Francisco 49ers.

"He's ready to go," Carroll said. "Thursday, when we get rolling again, he'll be going. He's in the building studying and all that, getting ready. So we'll see how it goes."

Seahawks Explored Signing Antonio Brown

The Seattle Seahawks explored the possibility of signing Antonio Brown before they claimed Josh Gordon off waivers.

Russell Wilson even pushed for the move as he worked out with Brown in the offseason.

The NFL's investigation into multiple sexual assault accusations against Brown is ongoing.

Brown's agent, Drew Rosenhaus, said there are "a few teams that are very interested in signing Antonio once this process is over."

The New England Patriots released Brown between Week 2 and Week 3.

Seahawks Claim Josh Gordon Off Waivers

The Seattle Seahawks have claimed former New England Patriots receiver Josh Gordon off waivers, coach Pete Carroll confirmed Friday.

"He's a unique talent," Seahawks coach Pete Carroll said Friday. "Next week, we'll take a look and see what he looks like. ... He's a big-play guy and can stretch the field."

Carroll said he was surprised that another team didn't claim Gordon ahead of the Seahawks.
