Marshawn Lynch has fined $11,050 for unsportsmanlike conduct following his 79-yard touchdown run last week.

Lynch grabbed his crotch as he dove into the end zone.

The obscene gesture at the end won't stop the bulldozing part of the run from being replayed endlessly on every highlight reel of the 2014 season.

Sherman: I'd Be Benched Giving Up As Many TDs As Patrick Peterson

Dec 22, 2014 1:01 PM

Richard Sherman doesn't believe Patrick Peterson has lived up to expectations at cornerback.

“I don’t know if he should be mentioned with [the great cornerbacks in the league]," said Sherman. "You give up eight touchdowns in a year, it’s hard to be in that discussion. At any point, if I gave up that many touchdowns, I think I would be benched. You can’t give up big plays like that and still play.”

Peterson signed a five-year, $70 million extension with the Arizona Cardinals in July, but Antonio Cromartie has been the better cover cornerback this season.

K.J. Wright Signs Four-Year, $27M Extension With Seahawks

Dec 18, 2014 5:49 PM

The Seattle Seahawks have signed K.J. Wright to a four-year extension worth $27 million.

"In the offseason, we identified K.J. as one of our core players moving forward and aimed to keep him as a part of the Seahawks family for a long time," general manager John Schneider said in a statement. "The timing of this signing gives us the ability to keep as many of our core players together as we possibly can. Since Day One, K.J. has been a true professional in his daily approach and we are excited for K.J., his family and the 12s to keep him in the organization."

Wright has started 54 of 58 games over four years, emerging as one of the NFL's best coverage linebackers. He has also exhibited impressive closing speed in the run game and as a situational blitzer.

Sherman: Eagles Miss DeSean Jackson

Dec 10, 2014 9:02 AM

The Philadelphia Eagles struggled to move the ball against the defense of the Seattle Seahawks.

The Eagles lack the vertical threat DeSean Jackson provide in past seasons.

"I think they miss him tremendously," Sherman said of Jackson. "He was an incredible threat -- still a threat in this league. You can tell by things he's doing out there in Washington."

Said Sherman of Philadelphia's current wideouts: "We never felt threatened."
