Reggie Bush agreed to a six-year deal with the New Orleans Saints on Saturday night and the Heisman Trophy winner will report to training camp Sunday, The Associated Press has learned.
A source with direct knowledge of the negotiations said the deal had been agreed to, but that he couldn't disclose financial terms.

Saints' Bush Misses Reporting Deadline
Reggie Bush missed a reporting deadline for the New Orleans Saints' training camp Thursday evening.
It appeared he'd be the only unsigned player when the team gathered for its first meeting at 10 a.m. ET on Friday, at which point his holdout would officially begin.
Hard Bargaining Between Saints, Bush Agent To Begin On Thursday
Hard bargaining on a deal for Reggie Bush will begin on Thursday, ESPN.com has learned, as Saints officials and agent Joel Segal are scheduled to engage in what almost certainly will be the most substantive negotiations yet on a contract for the second overall choice in the draft.
The negotiating session, expected to be conducted by phone, comes on the day when Saints players are to report to training camp at Millsaps College near Jackson, Miss. The initial practice under first-year coach Sean Payton is on Friday, and it will take a monumental breakthrough in the Thursday bargaining to get the 2005 Heisman Trophy winner onto the field for that workout.
Tagliabue Impressed By New Orleans Superdome
NFL commissioner Paul Tagliabue toured the hurriance-damaged Superdome in New Orleans on Tuesday with Saints owner Tom Benson and Gov. Kathleen Blanco.
Though repairs are ongoing, Tagliabue was impressed. He had said during earlier visits he had concerns about how long it would take to get the facility reopened.
"I think there are some terrific features in the renovation," he said, describing an overhaul of the Superdome's concession areas and luxury suites. "There's a feeling of openness, freshness."
The Saints are hoping to play at the Superdome in the coming season and have sold a vast amount of season tickets after drafting Reggie Bush.
Saints Holding Onto Bennett As Insurance
With Reggie Bush unsigned and veteran Deuce McAllister still rehabbing after tearing a knee ligament last year, the Saints are lying low in regards to Michael Bennett. "We've had several teams express an interest," general manager Mickey Loomis said. "All have made offers, but not good enough yet."
The Rams apparently are among Bennett's suitors, as they seek a backup for Steven Jackson while the status of veteran Marshall Faulk, still gimpy after offseason surgery on both knees, remains uncertain.
Saints, Mike Karney Agree To Extension
The Saints signed fullback Mike Karney to a four-year extension, keeping him under contract for the next five seasons.
The extension picks up next year when the final year of his existing deal expires, the team said Thursday in a news release.
