Saints Lose Kenny Vaccaro For Season With Broken Ankle

The New Orleans Saints have lost Kenny Vaccaro for the remainder of the season with a broken ankle.

Vaccaro was caught in the bottom of a pile and his left ankle gave way under the weight of the group.

Vaccaro was a key part of the Saints' improved defense at safety.

Saints Cut Garrett Hartley, Sign Shayne Graham

The New Orleans Saints waived Garrett Hartley on Tuesday, ending his six-year tenure.

Hartley has only made 22-of-30 field goal attempts, including two of three in the Saints' loss on Sunday to the Rams.

The Saints will sign Shayne Graham to replace him.

Saints Stuck In Seattle Overnight With Plane Issue

The New Orleans Saints suffered a difficult 34-7 loss to the Seattle Seahawks in a game with homefield advantage in the NFC on the line and then their plane broke down leaving them stranded in Seattle overnight.

The Saints will play the Carolina Panthers on Sunday Night in an important NFC South game.

“We took one in the chin today,” Drew Brees said. “We got outplayed today. They played great. They made a lot of plays, and we didn’t.”
