The Dallas Cowboys rank first in the NFL at $6.43 billion with the Cincinnati Bengals ranking last at $2.12 billion.

Colts Declare Marlon Mack Starting Running Back

Aug 13, 2020 9:09 AM

The Indianapolis Colts will enter the season with Marlon Mack as their No. 1 running back.

Mack and Jonathan Taylor were expected to battle for the starting job in camp.

"Marlon's a starter," Frank Reich said. "Marlon's earned it. He's had a couple of really good years for us. But we're going to continue to take the same approach that we have, where it's week in and week out, hot hand, all those things."

Mack rushed for 1,000 yards for Indianapolis last season, finishing 11th in the league while averaging 4.4 yards per carry.

"I honestly don't know,'' Hilton said regarding his contract. "It could be my last year (with the Colts), it could not be. We could get an extension, we could not. I'm just going out there and play it out. If this is my last year, we'll give it everything I've got no matter what.

"My body of work speaks for itself. Ball's in their court."

In eight seasons, Hilton has 8,598 yards and 45 touchdowns.

Philip Rivers Viewed Opting Out As Akin To Retirement Given Age

Aug 5, 2020 4:20 PM

Philip Rivers never seriously considered opting out of the 2020 season as he begins a new chapter of his career with the Indianapolis Colts.

“No, there really wasn’t. No,” Rivers said, via Mike Chappell of Fox59.com. “That’s the shortest answer I can give on my whole day. I don’t even know if I can ramble on that one. There wasn’t any consideration.

“Making that decision [to opt out] for me would have been making the decision to be done, period. Retiring. Which is nowhere on my mind.”

Rivers feels good about his decision while understanding that other players have a different set of circumstances.

“Did I ever consider it? No,” he said. “Do I think someone that does consider it or does opt, do I think they’re crazy? No. I think it’s really up to each person and their family to do what’s best for them.

“The finality of it is the big thing. You never know when you make a decision like that. In a couple of weeks sometimes you go, ‘Oh man, I wish I wasn’t.’ It will be interesting if you hear from some guys, how they feel about it in a few weeks and some guys that maybe were thinking about it and didn’t if they wish they did two weeks down the road.”
