The Packers plan to give legendary quarterback Brett Favre his locker from Lambeau Field, according to The Green Bay Press-Gazette.
"He'll get his locker," General Manager Ted Thompson said. "I kind of messed up the timing. I didn't realize people would have such a to-do about it, but the timing of it in order to do it properly will be in between our minicamp and training camp sometime, when things slow down, and (the maintenance staff) has time to go in there and do the work. We were kind of going to do it under the radar, but it obviously took on a life of its own."

Green Bay's 'KGB' Has Surgery On Knee
Green Bay defensive end Kabeer Gbaja-Biamila had arthroscopic surgery on his knee Thursday morning, according to The Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel.
The knee problems popped up in the recent offseason workouts, with the procedure considered to be just a preventative measure.
"Pretty much. It's something that he's not a young puppy anymore, and it is something that's kind of been bothering him of late, so [team doctor] Pat McKenzie thought it was best to do something now," said Packers' Coach Mike McCarthy.
McCarthy doesn't expect KGB to return to the team until late July.
"I talked to Pat, and he said everything went great. He doesn't expect any problems," said Packers' General Manager Ted Thompson.
Packers Cut WR Robinson's Comeback Short
Green Bay released wide receiver Koren Robinson on Friday, handing him the latest setback in his efforts to resurrect his career after serving both a suspension and jail time, according to The Associated Press.
The team stuck with Robinson while he was suspended shortly after the team signed him in 2006.
He has appeared to be on the right path since returning to the league last season, impressing teammates with his work ethic and efforts to remain clean and sober.
CT Boy Retires Favre Jersey After 1,581 Days
David Witthoft wore something other than his favorite Brett Favre jersey for the first time in over four years in late April, according to the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel.
The 12-year-old Ridgefield, Conn. boy received the jersey for Christmas back in 2003 and has worn it every day since.
The boy's father said he removed the jersey on April 23, his 12th birthday. He became concerned with his appearance as the jersey had grown too small for his growing body.
Packers Trying To Keep Division III Running Back
Justin Beaver, a rookie running back from the University of Wis.-Whitewater, has an advocate in Mike McCarthy.
The 5-foot-7 Beaver, who won the Division III equivalent of the Heisman Trophy, got plenty of work during the weekend rookie orientation camp and opened some eyes.
"I'll tell you what, he's been very impressive," McCarthy said. "He's done a very nice job. He plays with a lot of energy. He's very quick (and) explosive. Does he have a shot? That's something we'll discuss when we get upstairs, but I would love for him to have an opportunity because he's been very impressive."
