Green Bay defensive end Kabeer Gbaja-Biamila had arthroscopic surgery on his knee Thursday morning, according to The Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel. The knee problems popped up in the recent offseason workouts, with the procedure considered to be just a preventative measure. "Pretty much. It's something that he's not a young puppy anymore, and it is something that's kind of been bothering him of late, so [team doctor] Pat McKenzie thought it was best to do something now," said Packers' Coach Mike McCarthy. McCarthy doesn't expect KGB to return to the team until late July. "I talked to Pat, and he said everything went great. He doesn't expect any problems," said Packers' General Manager Ted Thompson.
