The Denver Broncos are low on draft capital but they won't be trading either of their starting outside receivers to accumulate picks, coach Sean Payton said Sunday from the annual league meeting in Phoenix.

Amid trade rumors involving Jerry Jeudy and Courtland Sutton, Payton acknowledged to NFL Network that the Broncos have received trade interest in both players but said Denver has no plans to trade either player.

"I see and read just like everyone else does. Then occasionally, when someone really crowds the plate, I throw a fastball right at their chin, and they back up, and they're like, 'All right.' And so, I haven't thrown any fastballs lately, but we're not trading those two players," Payton said.

Russell Wilson underwent arthroscopic surgery on his right knee after the 2022 season. The procedure was considered a minor cleanup.

Wilson is expected to be fully healthy for the start of OTAs.

Denver will sign right tackle Mike McGlinchey to a five-year deal worth $87.5 million with $50 million guaranteed, according to sources. McGlinchey started every game for the San Francisco 49ers this past season.

The Broncos will also sign guard Ben Powers to a four-year contract worth $52 million, including $28.5 million guaranteed, according to sources.

The 26-year-old led the Ravens with 1,096 snaps, becoming the team's only player to participate in every offensive play.

The Denver Broncos could look to trade an established wide receiver.

The Broncos have had trade talks with other teams regarding receivers Courtland Sutton, Jerry Jeudy, and K.J. Hamler, according to a report.

Sutton has three years left on his second contract. If they deal him before June 1, it would result in a dead-money charge of $11.475 million.

Jeudy is entering the fourth year of his rookie first-round deal, while Hamler is entering the final year of his rookie contract.
