The Denver Broncos are 3-0 for the first time since 2016 and Melvin Gordon believes the team is just getting started.

"We believe that we can be special. We're not just saying it," Gordon said on SiriusXM NFL Radio. "You know, I think that's the difference: We were just saying it last year. We actually believe that we can be special. We know we can be special."

While the Broncos are undefeated, they've faced a trio of teams that are winless through Week 3 -- the New York Giants, Jacksonville Jaguars and New York Jets.

Denver Broncos linebacker Bradley Chubb will have arthroscopic surgery Wednesday to remove a bone spur.

Chubb left Sunday's 23-13 victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars with a left ankle injury just before halftime.

The defender said Tuesday he felt a "stab type pain'' in the ankle on a pass rush. The fourth-year veteran will likely be moved to injured reserve with a recovery time expected to be about seven to eight weeks, if things go well.

If the Denver Broncos are sold, Jeff Bezos and Jay-Z have emerged as potential buyers, according to a report.

The Broncos could be sold in 2022 if the family of the late Pat Bowlen cannot settle the ownership situation.

The expected purchase price will be $4 billion.

Jerry Jeudy is expected to miss four to six weeks with a high ankle sprain. 

Vic Fangio confirmed Monday that an MRI on Jeudy's ankle revealed the sprain.

"He's definitely got a high ankle sprain, everything else checked out good,'' Fangio said. "He's going to miss some time.''

The Denver Broncos selected Jeudy with the 15th overall pick.

After making a first-down catch early in the second half on Sunday, Jerry Jeudy suffered a high-ankle sprain.

The Denver Broncos wide receiver's injury was gruesome visually.

Jeudy, 22, had 52 catches for 856 yards and three touchdowns as a rookie in 2020.
