The Denver Broncos could be without Pat Surtain II for multiple weeks with what team sources said is a sprained knee.

The rookie cornerback was Denver's first-round draft pick this past April. The Broncos were taking the diagnosis as good news, however, with Surtain's potential return to the lineup coming after Denver's Week 11 bye if he doesn't practice at all this week.

After this Sunday's game against the Philadelphia Eagles, the Broncos don't play again until November 28 against the Los Angeles Chargers.

The Denver Broncos have placed Noah Fant on the reserve/COVID-19 list.

George Paton confirmed the positive test Tuesday afternoon.

"We're taking all the precautions, there's always concern," Paton said. "We've got great people in charge of that so we're going through all the proper protocols. You're always a little concerned."

The Los Angeles Rams have agreed to a trade with the Denver Broncos for Von Miller.

The Rams will send a second and third round pick to the Broncos for Miller.

Miller has approximately $9.8 million remaining on his contract for the 2021 season, which the Broncos will pay.
