Dez Bryant Motivated By Hate Towards Cowboys

Oct 31, 2014 8:51 AM

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant says he is motivated by all the hate towards his team.

"I feel like the greatest thing about being on the Cowboys [is] people love to hate the Cowboys," Bryant told ESPN Radio in El Paso.

"That makes you work 10 times harder. They put the big target on us or whatever, and speaking for myself, it doesn't bother me. I'm pretty sure it doesn't bother a lot of guys. They like that kind of pressure. It makes us want to work hard and makes you want to do what you want to do to get to that big game."

Ware On Romo Contract: 'Put Up Or Shut Up' For Cowboys

Nov 1, 2014 10:23 PM

The lucrative contract extension Tony Romo signed with the Dallas Cowboys last week puts pressure on the team to perform, according to linebacker DeMarcus Ware.

"I feel like everybody is deserving to whatever is given to him, but at the end of the day, to me it's put up or shut up," Ware told the Dallas Morning News.

"I'm just being straight-up honest with you. Get out there and be productive, and that's with any player. Whatever they get, they're deserving of it. You just got to get out there and play and I know he can be and will be the quarterback that is going to be the quarterback that is going to take us to the next level."
