Bears Lining Tarik Cohen Up At 'Every Position'

Jun 27, 2018 5:49 PM

The Chicago Bears have been lining Tarik Cohen up all over the field in offseason practices.

Cohen hopes to be utilized like Tyreek Hill was in Kansas City under offensive coordinator Matt Nagy, who was hired to be the head man for the Bears heading into 2018.

"I feel like if I could kick the football, he'd also want me to kick the football, too," Cohen told Jim Rome this week. "It just goes to show how many places he has me at. I've been everywhere. I've been at every position. It's crazy."

The Bears drafted Cohen in the fourth-round last year and he became the first rookie since Gale Sayers in 1965 to score touchdowns via rushing, receiving, passing and punt return in a single season.

Bears Use J.R. Smith's Gaffe As Teaching Tool

Jun 7, 2018 8:16 AM

The Chicago Bears have used J.R. Smith's gaffe during the end of regulation in Game 1 of the NBA Finals as a teaching tool during OTAs.

Mitch Trubisky grew up in Mentor, Ohio and is a diehard Cleveland Cavaliers fan.

"We actually watched that the next day as a team and tried to learn from the situation," Trubisky said. "I was having a hard time watching it twice again, but it just goes to show you everyone gets caught up in the moment even if it's the biggest of lights. But you always have to know the situation, so take advantage of it."

Bears Re-Signing Zach Miller To Minimum Deal

Jun 4, 2018 9:34 AM

Despite suffering a gruesome knee injury last season, Zach Miller has re-signed with the Chicago Bears on a one-year deal.

The contract is worth the veteran's minimum.

Miller, 33, is doubtful to play in 2018. He will earn $458,000 whether he plays or not, and $790,000 if he somehow plays.
