Harbaugh Expects Ray Rice To Remain With Ravens Despite Arrest

Oct 7, 2014 5:30 AM

Ray Rice has been charged with simple assault-domestic violence due to an incident involving his fiancee last weekend in Atlantic City.

Rice is facing legal action and could also be subject to a suspension by the NFL.

John Harbaugh does not anticipate Rice's legal situation to impact his status with the Baltimore Ravens.

"Not that I'm aware of," replied Harbaugh when asked if there is a scenario where Rice would no longer be with the Ravens. "I haven't seen anything that would remotely make me think that."

Harbaugh acknowledged that it's a complicated situation.

"Yeah, there's a lot of facts, a lot of process that has to be worked through in anything like this," Harbaugh said. "There are a lot of question marks. Ray's character, I think his character, you guys know his character. You start with that."
