Former Broncos cornerback Perrish Cox will not testify at his sexual assault trial in Colorado, according to an ESPN.com report. Shortly after the prosecution finished presenting its case Thursday morning, Cox informed the judge that he wouldn't take the stand.

Bengals receiver Jerome Simpson has pleaded guilty to a drug charge as part of an agreement with prosecutors that could send him to jail. Simpson was indicted for trafficking in marijuana after a shipment from California was tracked to his home in northern Kentucky. He pleaded guilty in Kenton County Circuit Court on Thursday to a felony count of a prohibited act relating to a controlled substance.
