Rob Gronkowski Only Suffered Minor Knee Strain

Rob Gronkowski escaped serious injury during Sunday's loss by the New England Patriots.

Gronkowski suffered a "minor knee strain" and the timeframe is "a week or two most likely."

Gronkowski's 2013 season ended with a torn ACL and MCL in his right knee.

Peyton Manning Won't Return 'Anytime Soon'

Peyton Manning won't be playing "anytime soon", according to ESPN's Chris Mortensen.

Gary Kubiak has said Manning will only return to the Broncos when he's 100 percent.

Manning is still in a walking cast and is expected to wear it until at least Friday of this week.

Manning will still need to further rehab a partially-torn plantar fascia tendon. 

Brock Osweiler is starting for the Broncos with Manning injured.

Ben Roethlisberger placed himself in the concussion protocol toward the end of the Pittsburgh Steelers' loss at the Seattle Seahawks.

It has not yet been determined if Roethlisberger actually suffered a concussion.

Landry Jones finished the game at quarterback for the Steelers.

Patriots Optimistic Rob Gronkowski Escaped Serious Injury

The New England Patriots are optimistic Rob Gronkowski may have escaped serious injury to his right knee.

Gronkowski was carted off the field and he was walking from the X-ray room with a slight limp.

"We think he is going to be OK," the source said.

Gronkowski's presence in the locker room immediately after the game was viewed by some players as an encouraging sign.

Gronkowski suffered the injury with 2:49 remaining in the fourth quarter, when Denver defensive back Darian Stewart hit him low on an incomplete pass.

Jimmy Graham Out For Season With Torn Patellar Tendon

Jimmy Graham is out for the rest of the season after tearing the patellar tendon in his right knee.

"We're gonna miss the heck out of him for the rest of the season," Pete Carroll said.

The injury will require surgery, Carroll said.

The training staff put an air cast on Graham's right leg before he was carted off the field.

Graham had four catches for 75 yards on the day.

Aaron Rodgers lost feeling in a few of his fingers during Thursday's loss but didn't need to come out of the game.

"I lost feeling in my hand for a good portion of the game there in the third quarter [and] fourth quarter," Rodgers said. "I'm waiting to get it back in a couple of fingers, but it's OK in the first three."

A hit by Lamarr Houston caused the injury.

"That's the old funny bone," Rodgers said. "Not so funny."

Rodgers had to use his right hand on all hand-offs.
