NFL Says Kareem Hunt Can't Be With Browns During Suspension

Kareem Hunt will not be permitted inside the Cleveland Browns' facility starting Saturday at 4 p.m as he serves an eight-game suspension to begin the season.

The Browns had asked Roger Goodell to allow Hunt to be around his teammates, arguing he could use the extra support. The ban was handed down after physical altercations off the field.

Cleveland signed Hunt in March, three months after he was released by the Kansas City Chiefs.

Patrick Chung To Be Arraigned On Cocaine Possession Charge

Patrick Chung is scheduled to be arraigned next Wednesday on a charge of cocaine possession, according to the Belknap County attorney's office in Laconia, New Hampshire.

The incident occurred on June 25.

Chung has not played in the preseason. He broke his arm in Super Bowl LIII and also reportedly underwent offseason shoulder surgery.

Brandon Copeland Suspended Four Games By NFL For PED Violation

Brandon Copeland has been suspended four games by the NFL for violating its policy on performance enhancing drugs.

Copeland, 28, posted on Instagram that a supplement he took "was contaminated with a banned substance" that wasn't listed on the label.

Copeland had a career-high five sacks last season. The New York Jets converted him to an off-ball linebacker in certain packages.

Ezekiel Elliott Won't Be Charged For Incident In Vegas

Ezekiel Elliott won't face charges from Las Vegas police for an alleged assault earlier this year.

Elliott allegedly knocked a security guard to the ground at a music festival. Elliott apologized to the guard and was released.

The NFL investigated the incident as well, and Elliott met with commissioner Roger Goodell in New York.

Elliott was suspended for six games for an alleged assault involving a former girlfriend in Columbus, Ohio, even though no charges were brought in that case by law enforcement.

Josh Gordon Reinstated By NFL

Josh Gordon has been reinstated by the NFL on a conditional basis.

Gordon can rejoin the New England Patriots on Sunday.

Gordon was suspended Dec. 20 for violating the terms of his reinstatement under the league's substance abuse policy.

Roger Goodell had sole discretion on Gordon's status.

"We are all rooting for Josh to succeed, both personally and professionally," Goodell said in a statement Friday. "Everyone shares in that hope and will continue to support him to every extent possible. But as Josh acknowledged, ultimately his success is up to him."

Antonio Callaway Suspended Four Games For Substance Abuse

Antonio Callaway has received a four-game suspension for violating the NFL's substance abuse policy.

Callaway had been working with the reserves of the Cleveland Browns in training camp.

“I take full responsibility for my actions,” Callaway said in a statement. “I made a mistake and I own that. I have taken steps to make myself better and I appreciate the Browns standing by me and supporting me during this time. I know there’s nothing I can say to regain trust; it will all be about my actions.”

Callaway had 43 receptions for 586 yards and five touchdowns as a rookie last season.

Josh Gordon Applies For Reinstatement To NFL

Josh Gordon has officially filed for reinstatement to the NFL.

Roger Goodell has the sole discretion to make a decision on Gordon's status and timing. The decision will be based on whether Gordon has adhered to his treatment plan.

Gordon was suspended Dec. 20 for violating the terms of his reinstatement under the league's substance abuse policy.

"Once he gets on the right track, we'll get to that place," Goodell said in March. "But I think right now, he has had a complete focus on 'I have to get myself all cleared in the right place before I can get back on the field.'"

Gordon signed his restricted free-agent tender in April with the New England Patriots.

Morris Claiborne Suspended Four Games

The cornerback is currently a free agent.

Claiborne signed a one-year, $7 million deal with the New York Jets prior to last season.

The Dallas Cowboys drafted Claiborne with the sixth overall pick in 2012.
