NFL May Put Tyreek Hill On Exempt List This Week

Apr 29, 2019 8:27 AM

The NFL could place Tyreek Hill on the commissioner's exempt list as soon as this week, according to a report.

The league and the players' union have reviewed the audio of Hill and his fiancee discussing injuries to their child.

It's rare for the NFL to use the exempt list during the offseason, but Hill may present a different case.

The designation is a way to keep a player off the field while the league reviews a charge or allegation and reaches a conclusion on discipline, and the league usually waits until the legal system concludes its process.

Hill has been suspended from all team-related activities in the wake of the audio that surfaced Thursday in which he discusses abusing his son.

KCTV has obtained an audio recording of Tyreek Hill and Crystal Espinal discussing his treatment of their three-year-old son.

“Daddy did it,” Espinal could be heard saying, paraphrasing the boy. “He is terrified of you.”

Hill responded, according to the recording: “You need to be terrified of me, too, b----.”

Espinal speaks of how Hill allegedly abuses their son.

"And you open up his arms and you punch him in the chest."

The Johnson County DA has obtained a copy of the audio.

Tyreek Hill Won't Face Charges For Child Abuse Allegations

Apr 24, 2019 5:20 PM

Tyreek Hill and his fiance will not face charges for an alleged battery of a child.

According to police reports, officers in Overland Park, Kansas, were called to Hill's home on March 14 to investigate an alleged battery.

District Attorney Stephen M. Howe said that although he believes that a crime occurred, there is not evidence in the case of who committed the crime.

While at Oklahoma State, Hill was convicted of domestic assault for an incident in which he was accused of punching and choking his girlfriend.

Hill could face discipline from the NFL.

Robert Kraft's Attorneys Allege Illegal Search By Officers

Apr 4, 2019 8:13 AM

Robert Kraft's attorneys contend officers violated the U.S. and state constitutions and used tactics normally reserved for serious crimes rather than low-level offenses.

Kraft's attorneys allege police misrepresented evidence to obtain a search warrant that allowed them to secretly install video cameras at the Orchids of Asia Day Spa. Police say those cameras recorded Kraft twice paying for sexual acts with spa employees.

The attorneys want all evidence collected against Kraft thrown out.

The case could be dismissed if they are successful. Kraft has pled not guilty but he issued an apology last month.

Kraft was charged in February with paying for sex acts at the spa twice in January.
