Hasselbeck To Start Against Cardinals?

Nov 5, 2014 10:25 AM

Seahawks' quarterback Matt Hasselbeck is expected to start on Sunday against the Cardinals. "I probably should see how he practices, but I'm assuming, I don't think there will be any change in that," Coach Mike Holmgren said Monday. "He threw the ball around a little bit last Friday, and if he does that and can do those things and he moves fine, then, yeah, he'll probably start." Hasselbeck has missed the team's last five games with back problems.

Jul 15, 2014 4:40 AM

Mike Holmgren has compared Joey Porter's role in Miami's defense to Lawrence Taylor during his days with the Giants in Bill Parcells' defense. "I'd draw the example of Lawrence Taylor," said Holmgren. "Same defense. Same guy. Same effect. I'm drawing a comparison to one of the great players of all time. But in their scheme, I think they count on Porter to do some of the same things."
