Seahawks' Locklear Reaches Agreement With Prosecutors

Seattle right tackle Sean Locklear has reached an agreement with prosecutors that on a charge of assaulting his girlfriend last January. Locklear will perform community service for the next two years. "Among other things, the agreement requires Mr. Locklear to perform community service, obtain an evaluation, and pay court costs," read a statement issued by Locklear's attorney, Jon Scott Fox.

Largent's Son Indicted On Sex Charges

The youngest son of NFL wide receiver and former Oklahoma congressman Steve Largent has been indicted by a Delaware grand jury on charges of soliciting an underage girl for sex, according to court records. Kramer Largent, 20, of Tulsa, Okla., was indicted July 3 by a Kent County grand jury on four felony counts of sexual solicitation of a child under 16. The indictment said the alleged solicitation occurred between Sept. 18 and Oct. 2, 2005. Other details weren't available. Officials have issued a warrant for Largent, who is expected to travel to Delaware within the next two weeks to answer the charges. "He's going to turn himself in voluntarily," deputy attorney general Robert O'Neill Jr. said. "He's been cooperative."

Seattle Signs Punter Ryan Plackemeier To Four-Year Deal

Seventh-round draft choice Ryan Plackemeier, who is expected to fill the vacancy created by the Seahawks' recent release of veteran punter Tom Rouen, has signed a four-year contract with the defending NFC champions. A former Wake Forest standout and the 239th player selected in this year's draft, Plackemeier signed a four-year, $1.652 million contract. Plackemeier is the first of the Seahawks' six draft choices to complete a contract.
