A.J. Brown Feels 'Sky Is The Limit' In Year 2

May 21, 2020 9:11 AM

A.J. Brown feels he's ready to take another jump forward in his second professional season.

He caught 52 passes for 1,051 yards and eight touchdowns for the Tennessee Titans.

"I think the sky is the limit for me to be honest," Brown said. "I am great learner, and I am going to keep learning each and every day. There's definitely a lot of things I can clean up. In year one, I was really just trying to play fast and not think about it too much. In year two I can really key in and focus what I really need to focus on and learn a lot more stuff in regard to coverages and everything else.

"(I want) to improve on everything. I want to be a complete, well-rounded football player."

Logan Ryan Says Titans 'Never Really Tried To Bring Me Back'

May 12, 2020 8:09 AM

Logan Ryan says the Tennessee Titans didn't offer him a contract to return during free agency.

The defensive back spent the last three seasons with the Titans.

"It's just a business," Ryan said on Devin and Jason McCourty's Double Coverage podcast. "Tennessee really never offered me a contract. They never really talked extension or free agency. They never really tried to bring me back."

The 29-year-old said he was told by the Titans that they would "monitor the market" but he'd probably get more than what they could afford because there were a lot of players to bring back.

May 5, 2020 4:23 PM

Logan Ryan announced on Instagram that he won't return to the Tennessee Titans next season.

"To the @Titans fans: Thank you for all the love," Ryan wrote. "The energy and support this past season is what led to an epic run. To my Titans Teammates: I love all y'all. Being a leader and earning y'all respect is what meant most to me. Win or lose we stuck together and backed down from no one.

"... I'm looking forward to continue to play at an elite level for a organization that's a great fit for my family and me. Everybody Stay Safe & Positive during these crazy times. 26 Out ✌ #MMCNB #PayDerrick"

Ryan was a versatile part of the Titans' defense last season. He became only the third player since 2000 to finish with at least 4 sacks (4.5), 4 interceptions and 4 forced fumbles in a season.

Titans Decline Fifth-Year Option On Corey Davis

May 1, 2020 12:09 PM

The Tennessee Titans have declined the fifth-year option on Corey Davis.

Davis would have carried a $15.68 million salary for Davis in 2021.

Davis has 142 receptions for 1,867 yards and six touchdowns in three seasons.

Tannehill said on a conference call last week with the local media that he would like to get Davis more opportunities this season.

"I definitely think my chemistry will grow with Corey this year. Such a talented guy," Tannehill said. "Looking forward to building on what we started last year and our rapport, and looking forward to him making some big plays for us because I know he has the talent. I've seen him make the plays. Really excited to see him just keep growing and make those plays in 2020."
