Sep 27, 2018 8:40 AM

Rishard Matthews has reached an agreement with the Tennessee Titans for his release.

"EVERYTHING IS GOOD! JUST WASN'T HAPPY WITH WHAT WAS GOING ON BARELY GETTING ANY PLAYING TIME. IT WAS TIME TO MOVE ON," Matthews told A to Z Sports in a text message.

Matthews signed a one-year extension with the Titans that had a base value of $7.75 million in August. He missed all of training camp due to a knee injury.

He has caught three of six targets for a total of 11 yards this season.

Weather Delays Make Titans-Dolphins Longest Game Ever

Sep 10, 2018 8:08 AM

The Tennessee Titans and Miami Dolphins set a record for the longest game in NFL history on Sunday.

The game lasted seven hours and eight minutes due to two lengthy lightning delays. Miami won 27-20.

The first delay lasted nearly two hours and occurred with 1:11 left in the second quarter. The second delay occurred with 6:47 left in the third quarter and lasted 2 hours, 2 minutes.

"We ran out of snacks in the locker room," Cameron Wake said. "Lots of peanut butter and jelly [sandwiches] and turkey sandwiches gone. Lots of carbs, so we will do some conditioning tomorrow."

The Dolphins put a message on the video board in the fourth quarter thanking the fans -- approximately 7,000 to 10,000 -- who stayed until game's end for "being a part of history."
