The Tennessee Titans and Miami Dolphins set a record for the longest game in NFL history on Sunday.

The game lasted seven hours and eight minutes due to two lengthy lightning delays. Miami won 27-20.

The first delay lasted nearly two hours and occurred with 1:11 left in the second quarter. The second delay occurred with 6:47 left in the third quarter and lasted 2 hours, 2 minutes.

"We ran out of snacks in the locker room," Cameron Wake said. "Lots of peanut butter and jelly [sandwiches] and turkey sandwiches gone. Lots of carbs, so we will do some conditioning tomorrow."

The Dolphins put a message on the video board in the fourth quarter thanking the fans -- approximately 7,000 to 10,000 -- who stayed until game's end for "being a part of history."
