Marcus Mariota is working to improve some of his throwing mechanics this offseason.

Specifically, Mariota is trying to widen his throwing base in hopes of being more accurate with his passes.

"I tend to get real narrow and I think a lot of times that was from me trying to get out and run out of the pocket," Mariota said. "So if I have a good solid base, I feel that I can throw from any platform. That's something I really focused on in the offseason."

Mariota has gotten comfortable throwing from a narrow base, which makes the adjustment a difficult one.

"That's something that I've been doing since I was a kid," he said. "But at the same time if I can find any way to make me better I'm going to do it and do it to the best of my ability."

The Tennessee Titans plan to exercise their fifth-year option on Marcus Mariota.

The move is a matter of "when" and not "if," Jon Robinson told Nashville radio station The Midday 180.

The deadline to declare the fifth-year option for players drafted in 2015 is May 3.

Mariota, who was picked second overall in the 2015 draft, will earn $20.922 million in 2019. He's set to earn $3.73 million in 2018.

The NFL is investigating a photo released on social media that claims to be a leak of the Tennessee Titans' new navy blue uniforms, according to a source.

The Titans are set to unveil their new uniforms during a downtown Nashville street party on Wednesday night.

The Titans and NFL have no official comment on the possible jersey leak or ongoing investigation.
