Giants punter Jeff Feagles has officially decided to end his career after 22 seasons in the NFL. Feagles is expected to announce his retirement on Friday. He played in an NFL-record 352 consecutive regular-season games. The two-time Pro Bowl selection owns records with 1,713 punts, 71,211 yards and 554 punts inside the 20-yard line.

The Giants have invited Brandon Crawford to attend this weekend's mini-camp, where he'll be one of 23 brought in for a tryout. Crawford, 33, is hoping to become the oldest rookie in the NFL. "I look at it as a chance, an opportunity to prove people wrong," Crawford told The New York Post. "There's a lot of doubters out there, a lot of people say 'There's no way that can happen.' I guess in America you shouldn't dream, that's what you should tell kids. Don't be inspired, don't push for what you want to do. "Everybody's path is different. Everybody doesn't take the same road to get to where they want to go and to where they desire to go. If that was the case, I think life would be boring. My path is different, that's how I've always approached it and how I will continue to approach it." Crawford joined Ball State at age 29, after serving four years with the Marines.

Giants defensive end Osi Umenyiora believes he'll be traded after the team drafted defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul on Thursday night. A source close to the disgruntled defensive end told the New York Daily News of Umenyiora's feeling. Giants owner John Mara and general manager Jerry Reese insist that New York isn't looking to deal the defensive end.

Giants owner John Mara says that despite rumors the team is not looking to deal defensive end Osi Umenyiora. "Osi is going to play for us in 2010," Mara told ESPNNewYork.com on Thursday night. The Giants took pass rusher Jason Pierre-Paul with the 15th overall pick on Thursday night. "We're bringing him back," Mara added of Osi. "He's only 28, we see him as a talented and motivated player, and I think he's going to have a huge year for us."

If the Giants take a defensive end in the first few rounds of the NFL Draft, they could field offers for veteran Osi Umenyiora. New York has been linked to South Florida's Jason Pierre-Paul. It has been rumored that Umenyiora can be had for the right price.

A source who knew Tiki Barber's alleged mistress Traci Johnson at Mount St. Mary College said that Barber won her heart more than two years ago. "On her 21st birthday, he sent her 21 dozen roses to her dorm. He also gave her a diamond and sapphire bracelet," the source said. "At this point, she had a boyfriend, and told him that she and Tiki were 'just friends,' but nobody bought it. "He gave her and her friends [Giants] jerseys for them to dress up in on Halloween . . . He would shower her with designer handbags and expensive clothes." The source said "he came to the school, and she introduced him to her friends. "At first, we thought he was a nice, sweet guy. Really warm and friendly. "But once we realized what was going on, we were disgusted. We never expected him to be so disrespectful to his wife. "One night, he sneaked into her dorm and stayed over the night," the source said. "The next day, Traci didn't want to let him out of her room to use the bathroom because she was worried someone would see him and catch them. "Traci said that she didn't expect him to leave his wife, and that [Ginny] was so pretty."

Tiki Barber has split from his wife of 11 years, and, according to a report in the New York Post Wednesday, he left her for a former NBC intern named Traci Lynn Johnson. The former football player turned "Today" show correspondent released a statement confirming the breakup after Page Six reported on it Tuesday. "After 11 years of marriage, Ginny and I have decided to separate," Barber said. "This decision was a painful one, but we are moving forward amicably and will continue to work together to raise our children with the love and dedication they have always known."

The Giants have re-signed the NFL's oldest punter, Jeff Feagles. Feagles, 44, agreed to a one-year deal with New York on Thursday. He will compete for the job with former Australian rules football player Jy Bond.

Giants quarterback Eli Manning is shocked that the Eagles are listening to trade offers for fellow NFC East thrower Donovan McNabb. "It's shocking that a guy who's been such an important part of their organization, that they'd want to get rid of him," Manning told Reuters. "He's had great seasons these last couple of years." Sources claim that the Raiders, among other teams, are interested in McNabb. "You kind of heard rumors the last couple of years," Manning said. "I'm kind of waiting to see if something truly happens. "Donovan has been a tremendous player for the Eagles, a staple of their organization. He's a tremendous competitor and a tremendous person."
