Michael Thomas On Pace To Set Record For Catches

Nov 25, 2019 10:29 AM

Michael Thomas has 104 catches through his first 11 games, the most in NFL history.

Marvin Harrison had 100 catches through 11 games in 2002 with the Indianapolis Colts, the previous mark.

Thomas is on pace to catch 151 passes this season, which would best Harrison's record of 143.

Alvin Kamara Willing To Split Reps With Latavius Murray

Nov 8, 2019 7:46 AM

After missing two games, Alvin Kamara will return to the field for the New Orleans Saints this weekend.

Kamara was dealing with knee and ankle injuries, but was a full participant in Thursday's practice.

"It's like a downfall, kind of, because I wish I was out there," Kamara said. "I'm happy to be back, just happy to be back practicing on the field with my teammates, happy to be back kind of like a regular functioning member of this team. Because when you're hurt, you're kind of like on the back burner a little bit. You kind of miss out."

Kamara said there's no jealousy involved after Latavius Murray excelled in his absence. He said he will be happy to share the workload with Murray going forward -- like he did in the past with Mark Ingram.

"It's not like I'm selfish. I don't need the ball every play. He's fully capable, too. So I think we'll get a good balance going, and it will be hard to stop," Kamara said

"And he was like, 'I'm good. I'm not tripping,'" he added. "I think it's an unselfish team. ... So however it shakes out, it shakes out. I'm ready."
