The Miami Dolphins have traded Robert Quinn to the Dallas Cowboys for a 2020 sixth-round pick.

Quinn will receive a new one-year deal worth $8 million from the Cowboys and can earn $1 million more in incentives, according to sources.

The defensive end was set to make $11.8 million in the last year of his contract. Earlier in the month, the Dolphins paid Quinn a $1.12 million roster bonus and reportedly were willing to pay some of Quinn's base salary to facilitate a trade.

However, Miami is not paying any of the money in Quinn's new deal with the Cowboys.

The Miami Dolphins attempted to trade for Matthew Stafford before the 2018 season.

Adam Gase wanted to replace Ryan Tannehill at quarterback with an upgrade. Gase reached out to Matt Patricia personally about a potential deal.

Talks never reached a serious point but it is believed the Dolphins would have at least offered their own 2018 first round pick.

Tannehill was traded to the Tennessee Titans last week for a fourth-round pick in the 2020 draft.

The Dallas Cowboys and Miami Dolphins are discussing a possible trade centered around Robert Quinn, according to sources.

The Tennessee Titans have acquired Ryan Tannehill from the Miami Dolphins.

The Dolphins will receive a fourth round pick in 2020 and a seventh rounder in 2019 while the Titans will also acquire a 2019 sixth rounder along with Tannehill.

Tannehill's new contract is for $7 million for one season and is fully guaranteed.

Tannehill will back up Marcus Mariota at quarterback.

Teddy Bridgewater has agreed to re-sign with the New Orleans Saints on a one-year, $7.25 million deal worth up to $12.5 million in incentives.

Bridgewater also met with the Miami Dolphins. Bridgewater is originally from Miami.

Bridgewater is apparently willing to wait to find the perfect long-term fit, even though he has started just one game over the past three seasons.

Bridgewater suffered a devastating knee injury in the summer of 2016, tearing his ACL among other ligaments and structural damage.

The Miami Dolphins met with Teddy Bridgewater on Wednesday evening, but no deal was agreed upon.

Bridgewater's main options appear to be signing with the Dolphins or staying with the New Orleans Saints as the backup to Drew Brees and potential long-term replacement option.

The Tennessee Titans will sign Cameron Wake.

Wake agreed to a three-year, $23 million deal with $10 million guaranteed, according to a source.

The defensive end turned 37 in January.

Ja'Wuan James has agreed to a four-year, $52 million contract with the Denver Broncos. The deal includes $32 million in guaranteed money.

James will be the Broncos' starting right tackle.

James spent the previous five seasons with the Miami Dolphins.
