Mark Walton has been released by the Miami Dolphins after they were made aware of a police matter involving him.

Walton has been charged with aggravated battery of a pregnant woman. Walton is accused of pushing her into a wall and punching her several times in her face and head. The woman is five weeks pregnant and Walton is the father.

Walton was through two games of a four-game league suspension for violating the NFL conduct and substance abuse policy relating to his three offseason arrests between January and March. He was released by the Cincinnati Bengals after these incidents, and the Dolphins gave him another chance, signing him in May.

The Miami Dolphins will send a scout to watch Colin Kaepernick's workout on Saturday in Atlanta.

The Dolphins have one of the NFL's worst quarterback situations in Ryan Fitzpatrick and Josh Rosen.

"We'll have someone there," said Flores.

The Miami Dolphins sent three scouts to Saturday's LSU-Alabama game on Saturday. Peter King writes he's never heard of a single team sending three personnel people to scout one college game.

In total, there were 22 NFL scouts in the press box for the game.

The NFL has suspended Miami Dolphins running back Mark Walton for four games for violating the conduct and substance abuse policy.

Walton was arrested three times between January and March.

The Dolphins were in communication with the league and were aware that a suspension was looming before they traded Kenyan Drake to the Arizona Cardinals.

Walton has been Miami's starting running back recently.
