Lewis Helping Rams Prepare To Play Former Team
Michael Lewis, who walked away from the 49ers in early October, has been helping the Rams prepare for this Sunday's game against his former team.
"Of course, because I was the starting strong safety there," Lewis said when asked if he has offered insight to his new teamamtes. "I pretty much know the defense. We've talked."
Lewis lost his starting job to Taylor Mays.
"It's not a personnel vendetta, going out there trying to hurt somebody, or doing something like that," Lewis said when asked about playing his old team. "If I'm 'up,' I'm out there trying to help this team win a game."
Rams Agonized Over Whether To Claim Moss
Steve Spagnuolo and the Rams agonized for several days about whether to claim Randy Moss off of waivers.
Moss was eventually claimed by the Titans.
The Rams are 4-4 and could have used a player with Moss' skill-set.
Bradford Feels Game Slowing Down For Him
Rams rookie quarterback Sam Bradford has his team at .500 and said after Sunday's win over the Panthers that the game is starting to slow down for him.
"I felt very comfortable out there today, probably the most comfortable I've felt," said Bradford. "I think the game is really slowing down for me."
St. Louis heads into their bye week with more wins (4) than they had in the last two seasons (1-15 and 2-14) combined.
