Gardner Minshew has multiple fractures and a strained ligament in his right thumb.

Minshew has had discomfort in his thumb since Jacksonville's Oct. 11 game at Houston.

The Jaguars (1-6) didn't know about Minshew's injury until this week.

Jacksonville's backup quarterback is Mike Glennon.

Doug Marrone was asked after Sunday's loss to the Detroit Lions whether he considered pulling Gardner Minshew from the game.

Minshew went 25-of-44 for 243 yards, a touchdown and an interception in the Jacksonville Jaguars' 34-16 loss.

Marrone didn't consider pulling his quarterback in Week 6, but didn't rule out a change in the future.

"Maybe in the future, I think," he said. "I mean, I'd be naïve not to say [that's a possibility]. That's up for any position, any play that we can do for ourselves to get better. But no, I didn't feel that way during the course of the game."

The Tennessee Titans have agreed to send outside linebacker Kamalei Correa to the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Correa asked the Titans to trade him after he was not active for Tuesday night's 42-16 win over the Buffalo Bills. Tennessee had just removed Correa from the reserve/COVID-19 list on Tuesday after he was placed on the list on Sept. 30.
