Oct 5, 2014 8:28 PM

Maurice Jones-Drew believes that the Jaguars are the NFL's best team. "I think the Jaguars are," the running back said when asked to name the league's best team. "We have a lot of young guys who are starting to get their feet under them. You guys expect me to say anybody else?" Jacksonville is 3-3 through the season's first seven weeks. "That's a very honest answer. I'm a fan of the Jaguars. I'm one of those fans, regardless of what the team does, I still love them. Each week, I think they're going to be awesome," he added.

Jones-Drew Unhappy With Coaching Staff

Sep 19, 2014 2:19 AM

Jaguars running back Maurice Jones-Drew appears to be unhappy with the team's coaching staff. "It seems like right now if we don't get 30 yards (in a run), we just go away from it (the run). I've never been a part of a team like that," Jones-Drew told the Florida Times-Union. "This is a big issue. How can you get continuity? How can you get chemistry going on when guys are rotating in and out? The running game and the passing game is like ballroom dancing. You have to be able to move one way or the other at the same time or you're going to step on her toes or she's going to step on yours."

Del Rio Cancels Garrard's Weekly Show

Oct 11, 2014 7:46 PM

Jaguars coach Jack Del Rio has pulled the plug on quarterback David Garrard's weekly radio show. Garrard hadn't told Del Rio of his decision to host a weekly show, and the coach put an end to the show when he learned of it. "Less than 48 hours away from the game, it's not even a question," Del Rio said of the show, which was done on Friday's. "I don't even understand how anybody could ever advise somebody to think about doing something like that. It makes no sense."
